if you're not bagging rice and beans yourself, I can't stress hard enough to not stack food stored in mylar bags. go with the #10 cans. the cans will actually last 20 years. the cheap mylar bags that most companies use don't usually last very long.
that said, if you're bagging yourself, there are quality heat sealed bags that will last, and you can buy a lot of rice for 100 bucks.
