We garden and jar and have seeds , we keep chickens . Have a bunch MREs , but want to hear a concensus on the best tasting storable food brand . Moumtain Horse you say ?
Food that needs heated or water is an issue in a true emergency. I recommend canning meat. You can’t get far without meat and fat, amd the price per calorie on the premise stuff is astronomical. Also salt. That and a big bag of rice, a propane tank you can get a couple months if you have water. All the canned stuff has plastic lined cans, I wouldn’t suggest it.
Close enough, I keep a few in my camping pack. They're pretty expensive for what they are but I like how light they pack plus they'll fill you up for awhile.
I not bugging out or camping . I'm hunkering down .
Offered in quantities of up to a year of They market it both as an emergency food as well as camping.
