The problem is that the U.S. got other countries to agree not to land on the original landing site within a specific perimeter. The reason given is to avoid altering that historical area. Or maybe to prevent anyone from exposing an uncomfortable side of the story.

IIRC China wanted to fly their drone (they landed on the dark side of the moon) over the land site to take pics and were denied.
Here's a question: Why would China care what everyone else wants? I think they'd be wetting themselves over pr....oh shit, they're in on (((it))) too, aren't they?
