Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. They lived though all of this bullshit, yet they still in large believe "muh Ukraine!".

I can't wrap my head around it.

*not to mention they seem to just forget about NAFTA shipping all of the jobs that they enjoyed away for there kids.

Insane.

Why do younger people trust the government when they have the internet?

They largely don't realize how curated and censored the mainstream web is these days. If you weren't online before 2010, it's not obvious how things used to be. That's my guess anyway.

Right, and it was worse for boomers, much worse.

I would agree that the ability to actually find any true information was more difficult for boomers. They mainly had TV, radio, newspapers, and the library, which still today are completely controlled and sanitized institutions.

I do think however that the youth of today are being hit even harder with highly effective propaganda that has been perfected by decades of experience and psychological/behavioural research.

It's difficult to say which is worse exactly, but your point is not without merit.
