That could be one of the reasons for a big price difference. Another is milling source. Are you able to tell what mill manufactured the box store lumber vs your distributor?

I’ll check out the stamp and see if I can figure it. This is not my wheelhouse. I’m kind of assuming they are vertically integrated with this species to the point that they can crush the competition. The moisture content kinda sucks, however.
