Oh, so to clarify, my niggerloving southern visitor frendo, "soul food" as the term originated in 60's with the Black Power movement in the USA. My question is why the word "soul", however I should probably look to the "power" movement instead of when they were slaves. American nogs basically looked at their history as conquered people, took whatever recipes were still found, then called them the "soul" of the American nog. So the idea that our Lord and Savior had anything to do with this is even ignored by jewpedia and jewgle.
