Judea is also a place. Being of Judea does not make one a Judahite/Judean (as in Jew). I describe his actual ancestry. As is standard fare, the closest tree is what people use. He is an Israelite. The "king of the Jews" was the f-u to the Pharisees during the crucifixion and was a false assertion which originates from the Pharisees. Which is why it is placard on the cross. Jesus himself deflects the accusation.
