Ah, found it. Went back a dozen pages in the site log and found the old announcements link.

There are only announcements up until a month ago, and only those made by AOU.

Sorry, was realizing that statement was not accurate and was editing to remove that. I didn't realize that only announcements made by you were in that announcements sub. Thanks for correcting.

That is only showing me a few of the announcement type posts, I am specifically looking for just the regular posts that sometimes get stickied to the top of the main page for a couple days or so. For example, there was one saturday morning that was stickied to the top about the death rates going up in children after getting the clot shot. I was in a hurry leaving and forgot to save that post and now I can't find it.

Or perhaps it was this post? It was never made a site-wide announcement, but it was 3 days ago and posted by the same user as that Euromomo post and seems more like what you are looking for:

I mentioned in my other comment about general announcement posts that are not site-related announcements made by AOU. You would need to look at the site log for posts being marked as announcements* and then go to them individually to see what the posts are to find the one you are looking for.

I think there had been a way to go to a pinned post from the site log and it was a different link from the primary post link and you could then go up a level or something and see all previous stickies. I might be horribly misremembering though.

I think right now to see previous announcement posts you would need to:

Go to the left sidebar > Site log Posts made announcements/pinned/stickied are marked, so look for entries marked as "Created an announcement" and "Removed an announcement". Then go to them individually to see what the posts were for.
