I think the biggest mistake was allowing lobbying interests a sway in politics. Yet we still held this land to be for Europeans (who were here first, nothing against indians, that's a separate issue)

Now our number one threat would be the banking institutions, but i think kneecapping the already crumbling mainstream media would be first.

Maybe descend into anarchy. Strengthen the bonds of community.

Ideally I want a republic, but we need demographics on our side. What would be wrong with a philosopher ruler in a populist fascist vein, intent to only be in power for 5-10 years - send Jews to Israel (or as in the past, bar them from participating in certain occupations) deport non-whites, or set them up on reservations, maybe allow a minority of some respectable folks (NatSocs had a bit of unlikely allies in that sense).

From there restore a constitutional Republic. And the most ideal form of libertarianism

Would it be bloodless? Probably not.

Founding fathers did pretty good. We fucked up most of this (((interpreting))) them

Perhaps not setting a higher bar for congress to make constitutional amendments.

This. It's tempting to look at clown world now and say

if only they had worded that bit differently...

But these subversions all happened 100-200 years after they wrote it, and were the culmination of many preparatory steps. You can't design a perfect constitution but they came damn close to making as distant from any misinterpretation as humanly possible. For example, (((they))) love to rehash the militia meme, but if 2A didn't mention militias, they would come up with something else equally retarded, like "bearing arms means fighting with your bare hands in a duel". Remember, saying that only militias should have guns would have been equally ridiculous when first introduced.

Even if you did "fix" it, at best you would just delay the current situation by 50-100 years. After the Founding Fathers were dead and gone, shit happened that was 100x worse than any "mistake" they ever made in writing it. If a new country was created tomorrow and said they are using the Constitution and Bill of Rights as of 1791, it would already be pretty good. Just don't have a civil war over slaves this time.

The civil war had nothing to do with slavery

[–] 1 pt

Correct.it was about states rights.

And keeping niggers. That there alone would help a lot of we hadn't kept them. But the civil war would have never happened and things would look a lot different today.
