Mass formation, promoted by powers that be, and utilizing the media. Same thing with Elvis Presley before them. Propaganda techniques refined from the radio and newsreel days of WWIi.

They were the first, boy band basically. Right at a time that pop music was able to migrate easily across the world.

Someone please remind me the name of that jew who wrote all the Beatles song and half a dozen other rock groups from that time. Tavistock maybe?

Anyway, the Beatles were a glowie project.

I am pretty sure they wrote their own stuff.

In John Lennon's Rolling Stone interview he mentioned Tavistock.

Consider that the world as it was started falling apart after Kennedy's murder. In February 1964 the Beatles were on the Ed Sullivan show and teen-age society changed almost overnight. Instead of traditional-minded girls, the cult of the whore began coming out. It took a few decades for the cult of the whore to become the norm among females but we see how utterly destructive it is. And boys began to be encouraged to do their own thang and not follow traditional and proven behaviors. The bugmen and soi bois of today all spring from Beatlemania. (And it was a mania.)

They were non-threatening. Fifteen-year old girls chewing pink bubble gum had their first orgasms screaming at the Beatles. Paul McCartney had a gift for pleasant melodies and catchy rhymes. John Lennon added a little spice here and there. George Harrison was not then writing music -- he just went along for the ride, but the girls loved him -- and Ringo was the comic element, very non-threatening. Later, after the break-up, Harrison showed that he was a fine songwriter on his own.

Now that sixty years have gone by, I find myself appreciating the Rolling Stones much more than the Beatles. The Stones stayed true to their roots. They may have done a lot of drugs, but they didn't do bullshit. The Beatles were targeted at teenage girls. I find their music shallow and trite. It's pleasant enough, but it's not satisfying.

My respect for the Stones came from an old 60's interview I saw where Mick tells everyone they have no political message to give, just rock n roll. Something to that effect.

Rolling Stones were rooted in blues. Beatles were rooted in pop and musicals. Good blues songs never seem dated whereas styles of pop change.

Took my kid to see the Stones and they were f*ng incredible. Blues Travelers opened for them and they sucked so bad they were boo'd off the stage. It was great.

My god, OP is so brave and wise to apply his modern, perverted sensibilities to some people from an era that he doesn't understand. Well done you!

That's cause he's pretty much a gay faggot.

User above called you a gay faggot

Is a 'gay faggot' straight? Does it work like multiplying negatives?

Because their parents didn't.

You learn to separate the art from the artist. I like a ton of musicians who are complete sacks of shit offstage.

you mean like that little bitch Ariana Grande who said in an elevator about her fans "I wish they'd all die" and then a bunch of them did from a bomb blast and 22 people were killed? Fucking little rich cunt.

Nah. More like putting up with the hippie bullshit you have to hear when you follow the really good boomer rock bands. Skipping over their Vietnam protest tracks, ignoring the pretentious shit they yap in the press, stuff like that.

It's all the same, except now it's all niggers.

Degenerate? It's sad how millennials have never experienced any innovation in their lifetime and see everything as stupid or degenerate. Growing up with nothing but nigger music obssessed with White hatred, killing, fucking, and drugs with aggressive agitating beats- White millennials have no music of their own.

the Beatles all wore tailored suits and ties with their hair in state-of-the-art cuts. They were the "British invasion" and changed the face of modern music. Look up the Yardbirds, the Who, the Byrds; Peter and Gordon; the Beau Brummels (not huge in the U.S); Gerry and the Pacemakers- there were tons of groups that were springboarded from the Beatles. Real music was made vs the autotune sampling repetitive bullshit niggers shovel to cultureless White kids today.

The Animals are much better. Or maybe it's just my nostalgia.

my dad always said there were a few pop bands that were better than the beetles that died in plane crashes prior to them getting big. So there was a talent vacuum.
