the two scenarios are extremely different. Yes we’ve had spirits. Yes there was people who abused them. But for you to say it is comparable to now is pretty ignorant. We’re having thousands of people each week(or day!) die from overdoses. I wasn’t referring to Jews being the ones that caused all spirits to exist. I’m saying that they have stripped the meaning out of peoples lives where now healthy happy kids are overdosing on drugs instead of living their lives. They’re nodded out on street corners. They’re partying and doing molly and things they know completely wreck their bodies and brains. How is that comparable to spirits of the past? The opium dens? A market fueled by Jews by the way.
fill in the blanks about how you think meaning has been stripped from peoples lives. But look at the music, the movies, the changing society around you, the electronics, the screens, the level of comfort and therefore Immobility. Everything is designed to increase as much dopamine as possible and form you into a consuming idiot if you’re not careful. A lot of people fall for this trap. When you don’t have meaning in your life you are likely to try to find it where it don’t belong
I guess we just approached this open question in completely different ways. Since the question was "enjoy", I never would have associated the topic with opium or molly or the other things you mentioned, as I think anyone who claims to enjoy those things is lying to themselves.
As a reformed recreational drug abuser, I don't think you've ever tried molly if you're claiming it isn't an enjoyable experience. You referred to spirits, are you trying to assert that being drunk is a more enjoyable experience that taking ecstacy?
I was never a fan of the numbness imparted by painkillers, so i agree with your assessment of opium "enjoyers".
No, getting plastered isn't what I'm referring to. Whether it be mead, bourbon, etc., there is an art to the production, and exploring that world is enjoyable. You don't have to get wasted to do it. I wouldn't compare it to taking uppers.
