Same here. Younger kids are lazy and un reliable. We have state licensing so can't hire illegals but they would be more helpful to us than what is out there now.

I don't know what line of construction you're in and it probably depends on where you live, but I work on a paint and drywall crew and I see a good number of kids in their late teens to early 20s that work harder than the guys in their 30s and just as hard as the old guys. Some of these young fellers I see are being shown the ropes to take over instead of the millenials in their 30s. There aren't very many that age in construction, but there is definitely a decent amount.
