I still really love my Bose QC25, the 35 series was nice too (same item from what I could tell).
They are expensive. I paid like 289 on sale over 5 years ago now.
Same here. I equate audiophiles to that guy who genuinely appreciates a 400 dollar bottle of wine more than a 40 dollar. Insert your own price here, but even some 2 buck chuck can be fine to me.
Bose noise cancelling is about blocking the rest of the world out the best. Although my understanding is the sony in ear noise cancelling wireless earbuds are starting to match Bose. But a lotta people have outlandish expectations for which frequencies, and to what extent sound cancelling works.
I’ve got the qc25. Love it. Really works. Beautiful headphones. Excellent sound. Life saver. Needed it so I could work “in silence”.
How is the music quality? I tend to see they they have some of the best if not the best anc.
Its pretty damn good. I can notice a tiny bit of distortion in base on something really base heavy. but we are talking about small noise cancelling headphones, and its nothing i notice on 99% of songs... but a couple have hit it for them. does it. I should add that its only at high volume...
mids come across crystal clear and highs seem reproduced excellently as well.
I am not an audio engineer so I cant really get into great detail, but they sound pretty damn great to me.
