Bose have good noise canceling but overall poor sound range.
"Got no highs, got no lows, must be bose."
Their fame and reputation comes from technological advances in making more sound come from smaller packages, and that got equated to "good" sound to the masses. It is not.
Sony has clean sound but a high price and they are honestly a little too sterile generally for my taste. Like the sound is filtered through a scrubber or something.
Sennheiser is a solid product at a good price. Maybe not "the best" but a damn good product at a damn good value.
Yamaha is a music company. They make quality shit. I think their prices are insane though.
Harmon kardons are solid but they come with a brand price tag. If I was gonna pick between them and sennheiser in go with sennheiser for value I think but both are good.
Shures have always been a strange brand to me. Solid performance and at sometimes super pricey and other times a steal. Idk what their headphones cost.
