Amish and Mennonites are excellent neighbors. They keep communities clean and they don't have a central socio/political cult authority like Mormons.

Seems like a (literally) redder, more sober Colorado. Wouldn't move there with the Californians changing the entire west for the worse, but what do I know? The furthest west I've been was the Dakotas.

Near Salt Lake City you'll find some of the nicest homes and ski resorts like park city or Eden at powder mountain.

Southern Utah around Zion is decent, demographically. You'll see more niggers on TV than you will in person (outside of tourist spots). Taco niggers on the other hand... you might forget you're in the USA with all the fucking mexicans that only speak spanish around here. Your everyday mormons are ok, they have their quirks and bad apples for sure but on the whole they seem like good people to me.
The polygamists are the odd ones, but since the big guy Warren Jeffs got put away things have changed a bit in their communities. Still, they pretty much keep to themselves and don't interact with outsiders like myself. But, If i'm being honest, a part of me envies their (normal) traditional values. Heh, no way I'd ever want more than one wife though.

I've been traveling through Utah for the past 30 years at least once a year and I've never once noticed an accent. I've never noticed any accent anywhere west of the Rockies. Even Kansas, Nebraska, and most of Iowa have no accents. North or south of them do, however.
