Would take thousands upon thousands of years and cost the lives of most of the Human species to accomplish. When you spray roaches, it kills all but those resistant to the spray. Then they breed and those bebehs are all resistant too. But humans don't lay giant clutches of eggs, so every time we encounter one of these bottlnecks it nearly ends us.
