Sometimes my gf and i we'll go out somewhere, and these vapid bitches will just start getting super grabby, be they drunk or sober. we once went to this dining joint, and the waitress was practically grabbing me at every turn, in front of my gf. when did decorum just go out the window? do these women feel that entitled that they can just delude themselves to think i would just dump my gf for them or something?

There was a "tipping point", I think is what you're saying, and in your opinion that tipping point was the 90's.

I don't disagree that a tipping point exists, though I'm not sure whether it was in the 90's or not.

Apart from the existence of tipping points, there is also the slow, gradual change which leads to a tipping point. The slippery slope. The frog in the water as it is slowly brought to a boil.

This concept is pervasive in all changes I think, be they good or bad changes.

It's the same with all this trans/pedo bullshit.. it slowly, but surely got to the point it is now. Those with foresight were screaming from the mountaintops about what was coming, only to be told "shut up, there's no such thing as a slippery slope."

Unfortunately, the only way those brave, insightful souls could be proven correct was for it to actually play out just as they predicted.. unless, of course, people were to pay attention to history and notice previous trends in their current circumstances. But then, that would require a society with a memory that extends beyond that of a goldfish, and/or an education system that actually gives a fuck about educating as opposed to indoctrinating. And obviously, the problem is that by the time those who knew what was coming are proven correct, the problem is so far advanced that it could arguably be too late.

This place (Poal) is generally cynical AF. While most of us are very good at diagnosing problems, their causes, and the courses those causes took over time, most of what happens here is an "after action report", an autopsy of society, and there is little hope offered around here.

Which I find disappointing. But as the Bible says, "with more knowledge comes more grief." Knowing what we know to be true and watching it play out the worst way in slow motion is anything but hope-inspiring.

Some days I have hope, some days I don't. I suppose that's just a part of the human condition.

But whether everyone - or anyone - around here believes it, there is a God.

And be thankful that there is, because none of this gets repaired without him.

Today I have hope. Because I know that if enough of us appeal to him and partner with him, this can be repaired.

In the meantime, I cleave to those who share my beliefs and who will appeal to him along with me.

As for those who have fallen prey to the subversion and the lies of our current society.. I have hope for even them. Often, for someone to change their beliefs requires that they face the consequences that they have wrought upon themselves. Unfortunately, we also get to feel some of that consequence along with them, and that is the most frustrating part in my opinion.

But yes, while many (or the majority) of females in this country fit the bill for what OP described, there is also a remnant of women who don't fit that bill. I am blessed to have found one, and for that I am thankful.
