Switched to ProtonMail works pretty well for me. They also have VPN and just released a beta version of ProtonDrive. It will be more expensive, and probably technologically worse than joogle, but I don't care, I'll upgrade to a paid account as soon as their Drive goes out of beta.
Otherwise microsoft has mail and drive, if the goal is just to dejoogle.

Good for you. I have to migrate domain email from google. And my wife uses it. High, high risk operation - she is the one that checks email.

I am using Quad9 DNS. I want to do my own again one day... Quad9 is okay, they probably datamine you too but they are a little less semitic.
