Truckers typically work more than 40 hours a week. Unless you are talking about city drivers making pallet deliveries then expect to make less. You can take CDL school for 3k and in 1 month make 50k a year. You can pay 12k and spend 4 months in school and make 80k. If you're a nigger, woman, or immigrant you can get the tuition granted to you. YOU CANNOT FAIL THE COURSE. So niggers take the course get a cdl for damn near free then decide "nah main it bees too hard to wake up and gets to werk for the white man."

50 hour weeks still gives you a full weekend at home with the kids. I'm sure your corporate job only gives you weekends and evenings with the kids too. The only thing you might have over them is breakfast time, so you don't see the kids every morning because you leave the house at 4:30. Kids wake up, eat, get dressed, and go to school but you are already gone, what life lesson did they miss out? Breakfast with dad? Big shit cook them pancakes and french toast on the weekends.
If you REALLY wanted to be home teaching your kids then homesteading / home schooling is the route you should take it is actually fucking easy if you aren't a lazy nigger, sell you suburb or city shithole where you are surrounded by subhumans and move to the middle of no where. If you are really at the point in life that you can start working less hours, then you should be able to sell the house you currently own buy 10-30 acres and build you a little home or put a nice double wide out there, you could do that right now for about 200k. 250k if you plan to actually farm and sell produce and meats at the farmers market.
My guess though is you are like most people, in debt up to your eyeballs and still looking to do less work. Your entire drive should be getting out of debt asap so you can do what I said above or retire.
