Atlas shrugged?

I did read We The Living which was also by Rand. Her perspective of actually having been on the ground in the Soviet Union is invaluable but I wouldn't call her writing ...good.

If you're into romance books, women are without a doubt the better writers. No man can hold a candle to Jane Austen when it comes to Victorian romance, for example. You can hate the genre, but most people would agree those are good books.

They write good cook books, that's about it. The modern (western/feminist) female brain is 85pct devoted to obsessing over their looks, status and/or reputation, which makes it difficult for them to form any cohesive, complex or even remotely interesting bed of original ideas. A lot of half decent female writers surround themselves with men to assist them in this regard, but it never makes up for the fact that they inherently don't use their brains like men do. They're totally dependent upon external influences. Reading a woman's published thoughts is essentially listening to the echoes of a thousand men filtered through the prism of limited female perception.

Never trust a woman's mind, because she doesn't.

women are good at writing books that women like. I have read some fantasy books that were written by women that were ok. The first harry potter book was ok.

They dont do a good job of writing male characters.

pratricia briggs comes to mind.

but i would consider them superior when it comes to writing childrens/young adult books. ruby holler - the city of ember - a wrinkle in time - the giver and gathering blue. i really liked the magic tree house series by mary pope osbourne.. and animorphs by k a applegate

My motivations as a character are riding a motorcycle and wearing a leather jacket

if that one is aimed at patricia briggs. honestly i only remember the fantasy books. there was a book about a girl who rode motor cycles.. maybe she was a werewolf? i only remember the cover its been like 20 years

I think that series by her is called Jane Yellowrock Mercy Thompson. She's still writing those and a new one is actually due out soon I think. Unless it was Faith Hunter's Mercy Thompson Jane Yellowrock that rode the motorcycle, a series that is about to conclude on the next release I think. One of them had a VW bus and one a motorcycle, or one had both. I don't remember those details, but if I could sear the details that I do remember about those books from my mind, I would.

(Not a faggot; I get them for a female relative that likes them, so of course she tells me all about them.)

(Edits: Yellowrock is the one ending in book 15 that's supposed to come out on Sept 6. Mercy is on book 13 that is supposed to release in two days on the 23rd, but not the last one in the series I think. Also corrected that I had the names of the series by the authors swapped.)

Gathering Blue is an interesting book. I really wish she would have finished Jonas' life story beyond merely hinting at it.

The only thing women can do better than men is have babies. Because men don't have wombs. Everything else, men can do better. But we keep that knowledge to ourselves, because women get upset when you are honest with them.

Best chefs -- men. Best drivers -- men. Best scientists -- men. Best artists -- men. Best pilots -- men. Best engineers -- men. Best architects -- men. Best enterpreneurs -- men. Best inventors -- men. Best leaders -- men. Best warriors -- men. Best poets -- men. Best musicians -- men. Best composers -- men. Best runners -- men. Best swimmers -- men. Best chess players -- men. Best shooters -- men.

But women can have babies and raise small children. That, they do better than men. And it's the one thing they are being trained not to want to do. Think about that. The one thing woman are born to do, they are being told they should not want to do.

There isn't a day that goes by where I do not suffer the egregious consequences of not fully recognising earlier how right Melvin Udall is. I tried to believe they were worth listening to. They really aren't. If they weren't useful for sucking cock I'd propose we remove all female tongues immediately.

Ursula LeGuinn is a Hugo and nebula award winning sc-fi author. Anne Rice made a shit ton of money writing the "vampire diaries" stuff. Enid Blyton wrote some great stuff for children in the 40's-50's, very conservative and family oriented.

I can't say I've ever read many books by woman authors...eh. Emily Dickinson, Elizabeth Barrett Browning; Mary Shelley...Louisa May Alcott...Lucy Maud Montgomery; Willa Cather...

Chalice and the Blade by Riane Eisler You Can Heal Your Life by Louise L. Hay Sappho (Greek Poet) Bringers of the Dawn by Barbara Marciniak Ester Hicks channeling "Abraham" Opening to Channel, Sanaya Roman

I know this is bait but fuck you they write things most people do not have the balls to read.

[–] 1 pt

It's only bait because people bite.

What's the best one to start with?

[–] 2 pts

Bringers of the Dawn was written in the 90s. Prophetic beyond belief if you are brave enough to go there

Why wouldn't we be? What's so scary about it?
