I was referencing how long ago that was uploaded but, yeah, I've seen fans last that long as well. Many of the 'big' names are covered under a decent warranty and can get replaced for almost free.

I wonder if low fan settings produce more strain on the oscillating motor than high strain settings so you may have to account for that variable.
