According to the Georgia Guide Pile-of-Rocks, the earth should only host 500 million people. That means 7.5 billion must die. That means 15 out of 16 must die all at once in some catastrophic event. (or slowly over the next few decades?) If monetary value was the only determining factor, how much money would you need to be in the top 5%? Based on net worth and income, to make the cut you'd have to be worth at least.... a million? wait... 10 million? I can't figure this out, but it's a number that can be calculated based on available figures. I'm just not savvy enough to figure out what the top 5% of net worth is. I'm pretty sure there aren't 500 million billionaires alive today.

And how do you manufacture those robots? Where do the raw materials come from? Who's in charge of the supply chain, the maintenance? Robots? When? Because we're not there yet, like not at all

They’re actively planning for the singularity, and a big part of the plan is to have humanity willingly de-industrialize itself in the name of a more “traditional” lifestyle. Things will be so chaotic by that point that most people will opt for a more self-sustaining situation. They ones at the top of the pyramid will hoard singularity level technology for themselves while we live in a slightly more advanced agricultural age i.e. neo-agrarian.

Now when it comes to so called "singularity"... 20 years ago computers weren't much different from what they are today... I mean windows was popular and was shit, same deal today, photoshop was photoshop and photoshop is still photoshop, and the web browsers are still the web browsers, etc...

It didn't really change, sure we have more power, and more options/fancy functionalities, but in practice it's still pretty much the exact same shit, so...
