According to the Georgia Guide Pile-of-Rocks, the earth should only host 500 million people. That means 7.5 billion must die. That means 15 out of 16 must die all at once in some catastrophic event. (or slowly over the next few decades?) If monetary value was the only determining factor, how much money would you need to be in the top 5%? Based on net worth and income, to make the cut you'd have to be worth at least.... a million? wait... 10 million? I can't figure this out, but it's a number that can be calculated based on available figures. I'm just not savvy enough to figure out what the top 5% of net worth is. I'm pretty sure there aren't 500 million billionaires alive today.

Well madmax I & II are a pretty accurate depiction of how things might devolve overtime, with a global civilizational collapse as background

One of the things that history neglects to mention is the "long peace" brought about with the invention of the long bow. Once the people had access to a weapon that could penetrate an armored knight and shoot him off the back of his armored mount, the nobility began to grant the peasants some basic human rights. IMO those morons won't even have time to grant crumbles to the masses to appease them once it's boiling over, they'll realize too late they went way too far for way too long and there's no going back

Now maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think I am, because that's how quite a lot of revolutions and insurrections happened, the train of abuses went too far and for far too long, and one day BOOM, and it's the "oh shit" moment for the so called elite but then it's already too late...

It's like cancer, it slowly creeps for years, and one day boom, it's all of a sudden in your face, and you only have a couple of weeks left to live and you're put on morphin, game over
