Paol has got kind of a weird system where you can upvote or downvote, but you get punished if you do so. I'm not sure why this is, but the best policy is to never downvote no matter how shitty or harmful a post may be, and to only upvote accounts that the admins like. At least, that's the best I've been able to make sense of the system since I've been here.

Same, it happens when an account gets banned/deleted/blue named, you lose whatever they gave you, up or down.

As to OP if you don't refresh the page after a short time, maybe 5 minutes idk, never counted, it wont let you comment and any voting was never sent to the site.

I just engage in conversation and post pdf of books I read and share my leather work. I have points, lose a bunch, I get down votes and who really cares.
