I dont think it matters that much personally, however many women complain they have a "hard" time getting into the field, or passing interviews. in comparison, i just showed my gf an interview of mine, and i was cool as a cucumber, composed, asked questions, maintained my limits on what i didn't know, and did know, and solved the problem at hand. in comparison, this woman i know cracks under pressure, has severe anxiety, puts too much stress on randomized, inconsequential events, and does really poorly on interviews. i would say this is not sexism though, it stems from the fact that most if not all women simply do not belong in the workplace, at all. they are simply not equipped to handle the large amount of stressors

part of me wonders how important gender really is

it stems from the fact that most if not all women simply do not belong in the workplace, at all. they are simply not equipped to handle the large amount of stressors

Choose one, you can't have it both ways.

The wording is confusing, but the gender does not matter, the behavior does. In this case, it is not the fact that a woman is a woman hence no job, it is the fact that the behavior inherent to women is poor to most high stress jobs. Hence, gender, the concept has absolutely nothing to do with the equation. It's the same reason no one wants to hire niggers, the color isn't the problem, its the pattern of behavior attached to the color

Pretty sure we all knew that. Not like most reasonable people think gender or skin color GUARANTEES anything about a person. Just suggests a likelihood for certain character traits.

There are shitty white workers and a few good nig nogs. It's like 4/5 the white worker is okay to good and 9/10 the nig nog is okay to shitty. You get the occasional good nig nog worker and the occasional shitty white worker. It's just a matter of odds. I would also recommend using whether they're a fat ass or not. With fats you get laziness and fattitude (i.e. I can't change anything) pretty often. I did work with a fat black woman once, and all she had to do was fill out paperwork. She was always talking on the phone or listening to music. The office said our tickets and paperwork were perfect. I couldn't believe it.
