The algorithm that resets the score of suspicious accounts also removes all their votes, both upvotes and downvotes.

What are you talking about? This prevents someone from creating a billion sock puppets to create the fake illusion of one of their accounts. You can bitch and moan all you want but this site is the only one with an administrator that is actively dealing with the common exploits that anonymous message boards are vulnerable to.

If someone gets algo'd or ragequits, their points go away. I dropped from 86 well into 85 a couple of weeks ago.

People getting hit by the "point gaming" "algorithm" 🙄 Which by the way is not a ban and is not in the site log like it should be. If these people are so useless why not just ban them? Why take theirs and everyone else's points away instead of just banning them? Makes no sense.

It's getting fucking old. 62 points yesterday and 13 today. Conveniently I only lose a few more points than I gain when I post. What's the point of contributing if I can no longer level up? I'm not a addict like some other users. I can't just sit here and post all day everyday.

People that contribute to the site should not be devalued as far as poal points go. Given that they are used as a recognition for contributing and also allowing more privileges on the site.
