It's just that manufacturers perceive the American market as caring about size and engine, the European market caring about refinement, and the Chinese market caring about tech and vulgar luxury. So at a given price point cars intended for each market will have different strengths. V6s and V8s are still common in affordable American cars whereas you can easily spend 50k on a Euro car with a crappy 4 cylinder and a gorgeous interior.
The only reason the euro has a v4 is because of kikes in the WEF pushing climate bullshit.
Europeans made V12s and W16s when not hit with faggoty laws and regulations.
