Are you trolling or just really fucking lazy? Search the interwebs for the rules or go watch a couple youtube videos. If you really want to know how it works, read the rules and go join a virtual group online or in person at a gaming store or something. You'll probably rage quit in a few weeks when you realize the group consists of a guy who sucks at story telling, an insufferable trans dragonkin liberal, someone who doesn't know the rules and is never ready when it's their turn, a cheater, and someone constantly trying to sabotage everything you do and calls is "role playing". Then maybe you try looking around for a better group or even start one yourself. You spend hours preparing an intricate story full of excitement and surprises, and no one appreciates any of it. That's how DnD works.
