It's a valid question. Plenty of people pay the same rent for an apartment that they'd pay for a house rental not far from there. The one time i rented an apartment was when i moved across country, and didn't know where i should live based on traffic and all. It's not too hard to get month to month on an apartment, but on a house, very difficult.
