I noticed the profile layout change also included the ability to see how many people are following other people. I believe that info was previously not displayed to everyone and our follower count was only visible to us when viewing our own profile. Unless that changed a while ago and I didn't notice or was tied to a level and I gained that ability back when I became yellow and I didn't notice.
