In terms of quality of life.

In terms of immigration.

In terms of full employment.

In terms of protecting its citizens from the effects of the west.

The West is 50% effective tax rate. Lots of tyranny, sure. North Korea is 100% effective tax rate and ubiquitous tyranny.

Morally? Absolutely the same. From a quality of life perspective though, in the West you can work hard, grill a steak, and raise your "Fuck commies" flag.

In North Korea you're worked literally to death, starving, and tortured to death.
