North Korea has lower IQ. Malnutrition guarantees that. 100% of their intelligent people are working on a missile program and I suspect even they aren't that smart for being in the 99.9999 percentile for their country.

These people can't plan basic farming even when it is absolutely critical. You know they put someone who is 99.9 percentile on something that critical, and its dipshit level.

These people spend their day looking for grass in highway medians to eat. And it's already so picked that it's a real hunt.

They aren't allowed to have private farms in North Korea. There are only government owned farms and most of that goes to the high class people in Pyongyang.

They use human feces a fertilizer which gives many of them parasites. There was a soldier who escaped to South Korea through the border which is extremely tough to do and doctors were horrified how many parasites he had.

There are some secret farms in the forests, but if they're caught it's treated as a serious crime.

If it was culturally and morally superior to the west they would be having to keep people out of the country, not trapped inside. You can tell everything about geopolitical dynamics by the flow of emigration. Most of the world is a shithole, NK is one of the biggest shitholes. Everyone in the world wants to live amongst whites, and white communities and tourism spots are the only places that have to keep people out.

I don't think we know actually anything about North Korea. It's too heavily misinformation campaigned. I saw one video where they were on the highway in North Korea and in the background you could see modern towers etc. I wouldn't be surprised if North Korea itself plays along with that "it's a backwoods hellhole".

That's a big issue with western propaganda. jews have maligned state leaders like Putin, Gaddafi and Assad while gushing over trudeu, ardern, macron,biden, harris, Cortez etc etc. Good is bad and bad is good, generally after investigating their claims they fall short. We have witnessed the 9/11 farce, USS liberty, holocaust, Ukraine fiasco, the Israel funded rise of Isis etc etc.

I disregard NK, they seem bad but I just simply cannot trust my sources. I too would want to build a nuclear deterrent and lock out foreign influence if I could lead my state.

Nobody has anything more than surface knowledge on NK, anyone who tells you they totally understand it (including the people in this thread) are liars.

In terms of quality of life.

I personally suspect that it's not nearly as bad the claims make it out to be, probably not an ideal Utopia either though, but really I have no way of knowing.

In terms of immigration.

This is something I do know about, NK actually has a surprisingly large amount of immigration both seasonal workers and long term migrants, nationals of most countries need a visa to enter, though there are several countries who's nationals are allowed to come and go without a visa. North Korea has sizable immigration of seasonal workers both in and out of the country, with North Koreans often traveling to China or Russia for work.

In terms of full employment.

I do not know enough about NK to answer this question accurately.

In terms of protecting its citizens from the effects of the west.

if by "west" you mean jews, then it's perhaps the best country on earth after Iran.

People risk death to escape it, many die failing to escape it. How much of the bullshit in the west is allowed to go on because people are TOO comfortable? How much does trash fight and claw to get INTO the west? Would you risk your life to escape the level of comfort you get in the west?

On the plus side, North Koreans are generally fit (the ones who survive) and there aren't too many fatties. On the minus side, they have no freedoms of any kind.

Reading the comments here.. I'm wondering if any of you have first hand knowledge of NK? Or if you just parroting everything you've formally heard from the news and indoctrination camps..?

Maybe NK is a hellhole, maybe it isn't. I'm not going to find out, but I'm also not going to potentially spew disinformation or discourage another person from investigating the matter.

Looks like a Country that has been under long term sanctions / lack of global trade and influence etc with a life style reminiscent of primitive 40's -50's. Not great at all, except for the lack of degeneracy and mainstream celebrity etc but Not as bad as i've been lead to believe, definitely not somewhere i'd like to be born into either unless in the privileged class.

I think we have very good reason to doubt the propaganda fed to us about NK, but from the small things Ive learned, I think it looks like China from 30-40 years ago or so, with a smattering of semi-modern technology thrown in. Mostly, they seem vulnerable to food shortages, similar to what commy China frequently experienced. (People tend to produce more when they get better rewards, it seems.) I always keep in mind that a healthy chunk of their problems could be solved instantly if not for the crippling sanctions we impose on them.
