Quick easy simple ask Poal post. I just have always heard that King Arthur was a sort of filler fiction. Apparently during that time in England not was much known or recorded. Why is that and was it just a peaceful slow time with nothing exciting. It just seems maybe something is hiding in plain site. Just curious is all and I hope y'all niggers have a good Weekend. Thanks

Angles and Saxons were both invaders. Britons are the Celts who inhabited Britain and eventually became different peoples over time. The history of England is longer than you can imagine. The celts were ALSO invaders who took the land from the indigenous ancient Britton population. Druids haven't been a thing since then.

After the ice age there was a land bridge. Original Bretons came over and settled. This is stone henge and druids and hill chalks and shit.

Then the cells came over like idk 4k years ago or somethin and conquered and assimilated becoming the "brythonic" peoples we have history and accounts for. That kept going for a while until rome came and conquered and assimilated, making latin britain a thing. In the 500s after Roman influence was gone the angles and the Saxons and the jutes invaded from Germany and Denmark area, settling and conquering and assimilating. This is the Anglo Saxon Era from 500 to 800 or so. Theb the Norse invasions happened. The danelaw and such. A couple jundred years later the Norman's, frenchified Norse decided england looked pretty sweet came over and Billy the conq brought us all the lovely ideas that currently fuck our world like law as profit and royal allowance to live and prosper.

Check out the podcast history of England by David Crowther. ITS a good start.

The Celts were awesome as well... their history and haplogroups could be traced back to Corded Ware Culture such as the Tochareans of Eurasia as well as parts of AE. I understand Ancient History as well as Anthropology really well having sperged out for decades studying everything from genetics to etymology. Though I did not know much of what you just told me so I do appreciate the information.
