I've been playing chicken with this company trying to see if they'll pay severance, but they are stubbornly not playing along. This makes me think, larger companies simply dont care enough to fire anyone, regardless of how little or lot of work they do. Sure, there formalities here and there, but it just seems so. ... soul sucking to say the least. I think i completely understand now why so many seat warmers stay at a company for years, and never once look to leave, because why give up a super cushy job where there's virtually no recourse for poor performance?

There are an absurd number of psychopaths/sociopaths in "big wig" positions. This is why they're able to be so ruthless and do something like lay off hundreds of their dedicated employees, provide them nothing, and then reinvest the money that was meant for them into something else. Those hundreds of people? They're not people to CEOs or upper management: THEY'RE TOOLS TO BE USED UP. WHEN THEY ARE NO LONGER TURNING A PROFIT, THEY ARE TO BE DISCARDED.

This might sound like a condemnation of capitalism; it's not. It's a condemnation of monstrous business practices while using capitalism as a shield from any criticism for behaving like a fucking demon towards the people who literally built the business that these assholes rake in all the cash from.

I'd wager most of these psychos are kikes, or have kikes working closely with them. There is no humanity in their decisions. This is wrong.

You're not playing chicken. If you've caused a cut into profits, you'd be notified about it. Keep bothering them about severance while you're still working for them, and they may just terminate you "without reason" (most states allow this) to avoid the drama of dealing with your shit. Seriously, that's how they'll look at it- and you can't turn around and sue, because you'd have to somehow prove that they terminated you for a reason which was wrong.... but if they provide no reason, good fucking luck.

You're playing with fire, I hope you don't get burned. You think you have a lot of power in this situation, and you may have some.... but think about it from your employer's perspective. You're talking about bailing out. You've just marked yourself, you've given yourself an expiration date and made yourself into a target. Watch your back man.

If they don't owe you severance you probably won't get severance.

Imagine working for a company where not only is lack of performance not punished, but performance is punished. Imagine that everyone gets automatic raises regardless of performance. It doesn't take long for that system to beat down even the hardest working man. Why would you work hard for the same pay and to get punishment?

This is the situation in the corrupted countries.

This happened at my old company.. Everybody got 3% no matter how good they did. Eventually people complained and then human resources redid the merit system. It became so hard to get raises that the good people left and we were stuck with the shitty under performing clowns. The company struggled for years after with all the dead weight. They are still there but they are a shell of what they could have been.

Are you doing absolutely nothing? Or just the bare minimum?

So what's the catch? Is the payment good? Can you use your tablet to watch funny videos and anime?

That's the thing there isn't really a catch, it's just a very large dysfunctional company. Even if HR gets called in, i can just throw some new age globo homo bs down their throat instead. I feel like i just learned the cheat code to wokeism

Sounds like a good gig, having some paid time to maybe read stuff and browse the internet. You could even study for some new certification which could prove useful in a future job.

This, don't assume that a company that operates in such a way is going to stay solvent just because they're big. Use the time to prepare for the disaster.
