Electronically fired of course. The internals could work like a spark plug. Externals could connect like a light bulb. That way no matter what the rotation it would be able to connect and fire.

I guess you would need a way to make the spark plug like components that get placed inside?

Seems doable as long as the projectile goes out the front.

What on Earth is this? Are you suggesting an electric induced spark primer? Rather than strike force?

Also the problem is and never has been the "bullet" part of a round. That's easy. It's the entire configuration and the safety of safely packing the combustable with the primer with the casing etc.

they already invented this. It is called

They went bankrupt about 15 years ago. I bought stock and then one day the ticker just went to ---

lol I wonder why a device whose primary purpose appears to be to see how fast you can waste ammo has never seen use?

I'm really not sure why you'd want to see how fast you can launch grenades, either. But if it provides some compactness I can see the ignition technology being useful.

Repeated rounds on the exact same spot provide better penetration. Burping all your rounds in less than a second does seem silly.

Basically.

Cost. And battery requirement to fire a weapon is also problematic. Iirc, flame front during ignition to explosion is also difficult to get right.

Spark plugs don't work, use vape coils

. . (glownigger disclaimer: this is not a suggestion to do this, especially anyone with a flat earther tier IQ)

Voltage over a standard primer could do the same thing.

not every country has easy access to primers

Plastic ammo?

Physics and chemistry...

Already have plastic ammo. I've never used it though

Has been done by Remington:

You 3d print the bullet, and 3dprint the case. Use strike anywhere matches for primers. Is my guess.

I've thought a 'blow the fuse' system would be effective, but mass production would make them obnoxious. The old Remington E-primer system was kinda cool, but just not... Worth it.

The brass casing helps with objurgation and heat removal so... Another feature to replace for anything high volume.
