Most sewage systems are engineered to work passively on rainwater, so as long as it rains, the sewage system will be flushed out to rivers, and then out to sea, but I imagine without the processing we'll see massive algae blooms unseen in decades. The bigger concern would be high rise buildings that require water towers to provide the building with water.
