It is absolutely true in a sense no matter how you look at it. Our conciseness is electrical signals in a brain. You don't actually see anything. What you perceive or "see" is your brain interpreting electrical signals from light particles hitting your eyeballs being sent to your brain (you). Really think about what I am saying as you look around. Its a trip.

Reality is neither continuous nor contiguous. It's segmented and scattered and we live it bit by bit. The insanity that comes from less and less sleep is the brain being incapable of understanding and realizing the segmentation of reality. this is what "30 second" eye blinks are. It's your brain attempting to reset in the new reality it's exiting in different from the last reality moments earlier. Note: this happens at a constant rate, not by day, hour, or minute. But by the moment. It all boils down to the planck constant (it's a constant I think?) or unit or w/e.
