For my part, I've been out desert hiking when it's climbed to approx. 110°F or more (no nearby weather stations). I've been camping in a tent at -14°F I think.
I have touched the bad part of a soldering iron, gotten my thumb cut & cauterized by a cutoff wheel, and for cold, the liquid nitrogen.
