Taxes on cheap land are low, depending on state. Someone posted instructions on how to not have to pay taxes on land, I think I saved it somewhere. but it's only really worth it on something over almost million since the lawyer costs ends up break even with the taxes around there. If I knew a good white lawyer I'd rather give him the money, than the gov. But I don't have the money for a million dollar home. Some states might have no property tax for veterans.
