Sounds extremely similar, just 15 years later. She worked for a couple years to pay off her student debt before quitting and starting in on child production.

Judeo-Capitalism brought us to this.

It used to be a joke that women would go to college not to get a degree, but to find a husband. It is very exploitative that women are pushed to incur tens of thousands of dollars of debt just to do that.

My wife's was only a couple thousand. And we were able to buy a home before things skyrocketed again after 2008.
