Let's just get The Greatest Story Never told out of the way, assuming everyone here is aware of it.
came here to say that
The Money Masters (1996) (imdb.com)
Oldie but goodie.
The century of the self.
Seriously, watch it. You want to know exactly how America was duped by psychology and corporations, followed by the media, watch this. It's 4 hours long. Explains how a needs driven economy was duped into becoming a wants driven society.
It starts with Edward bernays, nephew of Sigmund Freud using psychology to basically invent modern methods of propaganda.
"In briefest outline, Century of the Self advances the thesis that Freud’s views of the unconscious set the stage for corporations, and later politicians, to market to our unconscious fears and desires. It’s gripping, it explains a lot, and it reminds me of The Matrix in the way it portrays an ugly dystopian truth hidden behind bland normality. Except for Century of the Self is real, not science fiction."
one third of the holocaust
The one I think about a lot lately is Conspiracy? Our Subverted History, Part 1 - Setting the Stage (odysee.com) by Asha Logos.
He briefly covers several surprising examples of historical evidence you’ve probably never heard of and how it’s all being hidden from us, or even actively destroyed. The rest of the series is good too, but this first part is the one that will blow your mind.
Very nice. Good stuff.
The Dancing Boys of Afghanistan; Waco (pbs one); Titicut Follies; Children of the Pyre; The Silent Scream; Charlie Company (Mi lai massacre)...gobs of them.
Here's some good Waco docs: https://libertarianinstitute.org/blog/the-waco-massacre/
Wow you just gave me hours of interest and further enlightenment. Thanks.
You're welcome. I'm glad it was of value to someone.
+1 for Waco (and RR) docs. Most people < 40 these days don't even know about it but, to a man, everyone I know who has watched a Waco doc ended up coming out of it ready for American Revolution 2.
Ruby Ridge- yes I'd forgotten about that one...if you deep dive reddit archive "heck yeah free media" you can find amazing obscure sites that have some equally amazing films/documentaries. Also r/open directories is great for finding stuff but use a vpn and current antivirus for those.
