I use youtube a lot and I've come to similar conclusions. The youtube AI gives a score to each comment on how 'negative' it is, and comments below a certain threshold are shadowbanned. Talking about blacks, race and crime will 100% get your comment shadowbanned. Inserting random punctuation or spaces does not deter the bot as I suspect there is a pre-processing step which strips all punctuation and does other normalization.
