I was thinking more putting up a zipline. Or maybe getting on a roof.

only person trust worthy enough is DR. Fauci
No, not enough strength to prevent things from going sideways
If you need to do yearly maintenance on your roof, consider adding ring bolts to the eves, then when you are up there just tie off your ladder.
Even a ladder sliding when you are 3 foot high can break a bone
I used to do network cabling and I had an assigned apprentice, he was too dumb to know not to fidget, and that was the last time I was dumb enough to trust anyone else with my safety

Great thoughts. Thank you.
My wife weighs 108# and stands 5' tall. She complains about lifting up a 35# bottle of water...
So with that specific task. Hell no.
All of them.
If you feel the need for someone to hold it, find someplace safer to put the feet on.
Considering the retarded things I've seen women do, I'm not sure I'd trust any woman to hold a ladder for me.
I have none of the above so I guess that's a no.

Maybe a platonic friend.
It depends on what your definition platonic. Platonic could involve females, and I wouldn't ask them to do a man's job, let alone trust them with it.
Yes, but actually no because physics, so I would not trust anyone beside myself to secure it properly.
But to digress; I would use a person-lift instead. If the terrain were too uneven (or inaccessible) I would make damn sure the ladder would be properly secured instead - even if it means additional screw holes in the wall; a small price to pay for keeping my libms.
I would use a person-lift instead. screw holes the wall
Look at mister fancy pants with person lifts, screws, and walls.
That would be in an ideal scenario, of course. If neither of these luxuries are available, I'd find a suitable solution either way. Usually there are solutions for most problems.

I agree. Sometimes though people don't like the best solution and choose not to act altogether instead of putting in the effort.

You can’t get a 36’ extension ladder off your truck and set it safely to get on a roof by yourself? Ladderwork is men’s work, women’s presence just makes it unsafe.

We were trying to put up a zipline. My laddee had to go against a tree all wobbly. Really I don't think it was workable with a 300# guy holding it, let alone my 5'3 wife. It just made me wonder about trust levela.
