I was thinking of buying these for my door speakers in my truck. Is alpine still the best for mid-range priced speakers? I know I'll need an amp. I'll have the guys that install them help me choose an amp to make sure they are pushed correctly.

It has good sensitivity specs, but like I said never heard them to compare. I am a huge infinity / Harmon fan for thier sound quality.

Go to a few stereo shops and see if you can hear them and do an a/b brand comparison.

From what I'm reading online tthey are a great budget audio company. I'm not really looking for budget brands tho. They were featured on fox news for some reason and there are some ethics practices in question that I'll have to delve into later.

I'll probably just grab 4 kappas, 2 infinity 3" midranges, and the kenwood excelon dash"
