I was thinking of buying these for my door speakers in my truck. Is alpine still the best for mid-range priced speakers? I know I'll need an amp. I'll have the guys that install them help me choose an amp to make sure they are pushed correctly.

Then yeah get component speakers. 2 ways suck.

right on. I plan on grabbing the components and having mids installed on the dash
