I was thinking of buying these for my door speakers in my truck. Is alpine still the best for mid-range priced speakers? I know I'll need an amp. I'll have the guys that install them help me choose an amp to make sure they are pushed correctly.

Oh, and that cerwin vega sub amp combo is super small but has a really great output. Shockingly so.

how long have you had yours?

5 years or so.

I have quite a few vehicles with systems in them, my boat is an 8KW monster with 6 subs and 20 hdlc speakers.

I might grab them. they aren't that expensive. My goal is to have a great sounding sound system with good mids and decent lows. I'm not looking to beat down the block or anything.
