I was thinking of buying these for my door speakers in my truck. Is alpine still the best for mid-range priced speakers? I know I'll need an amp. I'll have the guys that install them help me choose an amp to make sure they are pushed correctly.

Wife and I did a/b comparison with her iPhone.

Let's just say I will not be going Apple anytime in the "not so near" future.
