Their research methodology is to Google it. Google cites Snopes ("fact checkers"). Snopes cites Google ("Google endorsement via high search ranking"). Google ranks based on the politics or economics they support. This is completely detached from facts or reality. Merit or correctness is never a requirement.

Doesn't matter how credentialed the source, this is as biased and as dishonest as one can get.

Snopes and Politifact both insisted that Hunter Biden's laptop was russian disinformation. They continued to try and parse words to create a false cloud even after it was confirmed as real. Now they are doing the same for his icloud account.

Google says by weight of their search results. Snopes then uses those results as proof Google's results are valid. Circular reasoning which we call "fact checking."

You aren't going to convince them. Just save yourself the stress.

If you don't believe me just ask them what sources they will accept as debunking politifact or snopes. They will tell you some version of "nothing."

I haven't been to snopes or politicfact in forever. I am not going to waste my time on sites that just lie to people for money. I am not sure what an alternate site would accomplish. Fact checking sites only exist to reenforce the lies/propaganda told by leftish media.
