I don't care how many people see my posts. I don't do it for recognition or points. If only one person saw a post and it caused them to think about an idea, I made a difference.
I interact with maybe a dozen people, perhaps this is an echo chamber. It doesn't matter. I don't feel so isolated because even a few other people share my thinking.

Generally, there are 100:1 lurkers to content creators. Probably safe to assume around 500 to 1000 real people have read this.
You also have to remember quality of user matters too. If you post on reddit and you get 3 bot replies and 5 replies from special interest groups it's worse than getting one genuine comment from a real human.
I think poal is doing just fine, you also have to consider most people don't even make accounts, there are plenty of people who just won't sign up. Poal stats are pretty good, honestly, for a smaller site https://www.similarweb.com/website/poal.co/#overview

Just Curious, How does that site determine Age, Sex and Country of Origin of unique users (even those without an account and using a VPN) ?? EDIT: If People using a VPN are logging on and off several times a day to poal - are those all counted as unique users and visits ?.

Take the total comment count, upvotes, and downvotes. Multiply by 100.
Thats how many views a single thread or comment gets.
