I ran across one of those AB guys once. A buddy somehow started hanging with them and became loosely affiliated. Bad news, nothing but trouble follows those guys. Dude is a methhead. Sounds like your pal may be, too.
I never got the impression that the prison gang system was ever truly ideologically driven…at least not like actual politics which determine the destiny of nations. It’s more about segregating with your own race for the sake of survival. Prison is racist AF on all sides apparently, so that’s just the way things are.
